Tell us what you can bring. We will tell you where it is enough.
One number in, one document out. How often the upvotes you can realistically get on launch day would have been enough for first place, the top five and the top ten — on every board we count, on every day we have counted.

How many upvotes can you realistically bring on launch day? Count the people who would actually click for you — not your follower count.

What you decide with it
You launch once. The board you pick decides more than anything else you can still change — and almost nobody picks it on purpose, because nobody counted what each one costs. We did, every day, for months. This is that record, compressed against one number: yours.
Stop guessing which board.
Your number against all five of them, on every day we measured. The one where it was enough is named.
Know the number you actually need.
First place, top five, top ten — each with its own threshold per board. „Enough" stops being a feeling.
Find out how far off you are.
Not „work harder" but „nine more upvotes than you have, on a typical day". That is a gap you can close in an afternoon of asking.
Plan against a bad day, not a flattering average.
The easiest day, the median, the top quarter and the hardest day we ever measured. Your launch is one day — and it might be the hard one.
Be wrong about yourself and still be right.
The whole calculation runs again at half and double your number. Most people overestimate this; the document survives it.
Stop worrying about the weekday.
Measured per board — and where the difference is inside the noise, it says so instead of selling you a best day.
See whether the bar is rising.
Month by month. If you launch in six weeks, that is the line you are actually launching against.
Argue with every figure.
Each board comes with how long it has been measured, since when, and whether through an API or read off the page. Nothing here asks to be believed.
What it does not say
How many visitors a placement brings. No launch board publishes that, so any figure for it is an estimate being called data. The report says what a placement cost, in upvotes, on days we counted ourselves — and it is written in the past tense throughout, because that is the only tense a measurement has.
Prefer a human to decide board and date and write the launch out for you? That is the Launch Kit. The report calculates; the kit writes.
