A ready paragraph for your privacy policy:
We measure how our website is used with LaunchAmp Analytics, which we run on our own server. The tracking sets no cookie in your browser and does not store your IP address. For each page view it stores the time, the page address without anything after a question mark, the website you came from (host name only), the campaign values utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign if the link you followed contains them, the device type (mobile or desktop) and a daily visitor token. Where we have set it up, it also records named actions (for example a completed sign-up), with an optional short label, under the same token. The token is calculated from your IP address and browser details together with the date and a secret; the IP address and the browser details themselves are never stored, and the token changes every day, so you cannot be followed across days. The data stays on our server and is not passed on.
If the site operator uses the "Don't count this browser" function, a cookie named lax_notrack with the value 1 is set in the operator's own browser so that these visits are not counted. It contains no personal data and is not set for visitors.
